About this program
The College of Health Sciences offers high school applicants the BS-MD Combined Programs to enter the medical profession. The BS-MD Combined Programs allow first-time freshmen to complete their pre-medicine coursework and MD degree in an accelerated time frame, six-to-eight years. Students in the BS-MD Combined Programs begin their program at CHS. Working closely with CHS pre-health advisors, students complete the required criteria and academic course prerequisites. Each year, the BS-MD students will be required to participate in a College of Medicine campus activity; to educates students of their future profession through community health service opportunities, specialty career exploration workshops, lab experiences, and professional education sessions.
