About this program
The Rutgers University/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Joint Program is designed to permit integration of basic medical sciences into the undergraduate curriculum to graduate broadly educated students who will assume leadership roles in medicine. Students apply to the program in their fourth semester at Rutgers University. Selected students will be on track to obtain bachelor and medical degrees in seven years. An additional 4+4 BAMD program with the honors college of Rutgers is a unique offering that is designed to educate the doctors and medical professionals the world will need in the 21st Century.  Application is by invitation only: https://honorscollege.rutgers.edu/4-plus-4-program. Another 8 year BA/MD program in collaboration with Princeton University is offered to students who meet our definition of underrepresented in medicine.
